PHOTOBOX STEPS UP TO DELIVER UK GIFT SECTOR'S LEADING AFFILIATE PROGRAM

Affiliate re-launch sees small and large partners reap rewards

Today Europe's leader in personal publishing, PhotoBox, re-launches its modernised affiliate campaign via award winning affiliate network, Affiliate Window. This fresh approach sets out to establish PhotoBox as the number one affiliate campaign in the gifting sector.

PhotoBox first kicked off its affiliate campaign in 2004. Now with affiliate display accounting for over 10% of the online display advertising market, valued at £72.6m[1], the organisation continues to look to invest and develop its offering in this growing channel.

The re-launch will help existing affiliates, as well as looking to attract new partners. With modernised tools; featuring a new commission structure, refreshed website creatives and practical incentives, partners will be able to make the most of greater earning potential and further joint success. With these changes in place, the PhotoBox affiliate campaign is on track to see new customer sales and volumes double YOY.

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, PhotoBox continues to see strong business growth with over 3.5 million UK members. The renewed campaign sets out to build on this success. In particular the innovative new commission structure which moves away from traditional tiered schemes to focus on total basket value, offers affiliates the opportunity to earn higher commissions. This will not only support and incentivise both smaller and larger affiliates, but will also attract a wider array of partners; from true content and loyalty all the way through to voucher code sites.

To kick off the new scheme, next month sees an ambitious customer discount campaign which is set to be a catalyst in revenue for existing partners and a call to action for new members.

Mark Chapman, MD at PhotoBox, comments: "We've always had strong relationships with our affiliates and in return they've always delivered a highly effective customer acquisitions tool and cost efficient way in which to get our brand out into the far corners of the web. The re-launch looks to develop this great success story further, reviewing and refreshing the channel to ensure we're giving partners the best opportunities in the UK gifting sector."

Chapman concluded: "The CPA business model makes a lot of sense for us, and with a bold approach and some great affiliates on board, there are no limits to what we can achieve."

As travel and food become more hand in hand, Brits become more infatuated with a particular ingredient such as pasta, or a style of cooking or country. People can now easily publish their own cook book series on a best loved topic. Marry holiday photos together with written captions describing special memories of rich smells, newly discovered ingredients and inspiring tips and advice from locals on how to make this authentic dish on returning home.

This ability to create a truly customised personal cook book also caters for those with specific food needs or allergies. It acts as fun, open and educational way in which to discuss food. Parents and partners alike can now cater for diabetics for example, sourcing recipes online and through forums and collecting them in one useful book. For those looking to manage particular food groups, this is a simple way to create an ultimate guide to suit your life and diet. From vegetarians to vegans, from low GI to gluten or diary free, take all your torn out recipe pages and quickly scribbled notes and put them into your own cookery bible dedicated to you.

Mark Chapman, MD at PhotoBox commented: "Cooking makes up such a huge part of our lives. It's one of life's genuine pleasures and always a great excuse to get together – whether that's over the family dinner table or catching up with friends. We wanted to really bring these feelings to life with our photo cook book."

"Our favourite foods and tastes change throughout our lives and we hope these books will take on a life of their own, showcasing a personal journey. Whether you're using the book every day as an extra pair of hands, or keeping it as a pristine and revered family heirloom, it's a great way to create your own personal treasure trove of memories to share and enjoy for years to come."
